Semester 2, 2026 Orientation will be held on the Parkville Campus on Monday 20 July and Tuesday 21 July 2026.
We can't wait to support you during your time in the Faculty of Arts.
Your Graduate Orientation will start with the GSHSS Information Session, where you'll receive important information about services available to you, and opportunities to get involved in the Faculty of Arts. Afterward, you'll have the chance to connect with other commencing students and meet with your academic staff over some snacks and refreshments at the GSHSS Reception. We look forward to seeing you there!
GSHSS Orientation will take place over two nights. Please make sure you check below to see which night is relevant to your degree. A recording of the information session will also be uploaded to this site after the session.
Registration for Orientation will open on 19 June 2026.
Which Night of Orientation should I attend?
GSHSS Orientation will take place over two nights. Please make sure that you attend on the night that is relevant to your degree so that you have a chance to meet your peers and teaching staff. Students studying Certificates or Diplomas should attend on a night that corresponds to their specific discipline or area of interest.
