Seed Funding Program
Through this annual program, the Centre supports up to four early-stage research projects, from any discipline, that align with the Australian Centre’s core principles and consider what must be done to inform, shape, and give life to more just relations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples on this continent we now call Australia and across the globe.

2023 Seed Funding Recipients
In 2023, the Centre launced its inaugural seed funding initiative, designed to support up to four early-stage research projects across disciplines. The focus of this program is to foster critical research that engages with and propels advancements in understanding settler colonialism and its institutions. This initiative awarded a total of $10,000 for interdisciplinary projects, concentrating on themes such as Country, Climate, Colonialism, structural reform of settler colonialism and its institutions, as well as Treaty and truth-telling.
