Grimwade Conservation Services brings together leading researchers from across the University of Melbourne to deliver conservation solutions for institutions and private clients throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Grimwade Conservation Services supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through our advancement of sustainable conservation practice. We are active participants in the University of Melbourne’s sustainability strategy through participation in the Green Impact program, My Green Lab Certification, and our ongoing efforts to reduce our carbon footprint in the workplace.
We recycle, up-cycle, reduce, and reuse to reduce our climate impact. As a team, we create change through the things we do every day.
In 2021 Grimwade Conservation Services won the Australasia Green Impact Cup for sustainable practice, and in August 2022 achieved the highest level of My Green Lab Certification becoming a Green Level Certified Lab. The My Green Lab Certification program is considered the gold standard for laboratory sustainability best practices around the world and is recognised by the United Nations Race to Zero campaign as a key measure of progress towards a zero-carbon future.
